Özlem Ulusoy Afanyalı
Özlem Ulusoy Afanyalı was born in 1988 in Turkey. She completed her primary and secondary education in Ankara and later on graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University with a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Biology. She further continued her education with a Master of Medical Science (MMedSci.) degree in Embryology & Histology from Medical Faculty, Eskişehir Osmangazi University and at the same time attended research in IVF laboratories. Further adding to her accomplishments she successfully completed the steps required to gain a head embryologist certificate and title in Gülhane Military Medical Academy. In addition to this she continued her embryology studies in various countries such as; the UK and numerous states in America. In 2021, she received the Embryology certificate of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She worked as a senior embryologist in multiple different clinics both in Turkey and North Cyprus before becoming the director and head senior embryologist at our clinic, Gynolife IVF center. Societies she is a member of; ASRM, ESHRE, TSRM, KED.
